I am an extremely creative person who is constantly 'making and creating' things. My absolute obsession, besides working out and trying to keep myself in shape, is capturing memories through photography. I love photojournalistic style of photography, meaning that I love to get candid shots to tell a story. The story can be, "Hey I'm 1 year old and am the boss" or "I'm a very curious 5 year old that loves the mud." No matter you or your family's story, I would love to capture it! I am a very versatile photographer as I will do seniors, kids, families, and engagement. I am working on encorporating weddings to my list. I am willing to try your ideas and have tons of my own.

I have always been interested in helping others capture family memories that they can cherish and display in their home. I encourage all my clients to prints their pictures, frame them and display them proudly. Before I began working at ACH, I was a framer at Hobby Lobby. If you ever have any questions about framing or displaying your photos, please let me know!

When booking with me, I may ask you some questions that will help me get to know your child and/or yourself. These questions help me be prepared for your session so I can provide with the photos you are looking for and a smooth session. Please answer them promptly as to allow me to research and gather things that may be needed for your session.

Weddings - prices vary and I'd love to discuss them with you. Depends on the amount of time you need me, which you can customize with your budget, and whether you would like a second photographer. I often work with another photographer and many times recommend using both of us to maximize your experience and photos!

Having a party and don't want to be behind the camera the entire day only to realize you aren't in any of the pictures?
This is near and dear to my heart, because as a mother and a photographer, I am always behind the camera and never in the photos. Not to mention you have to watch the whole party through the viewfinder.
Let me come get pictures for your event. I can be behind the scenes and get candids or be involved and do some posing...or a little of both. Call for prices depending on location and hours. Birthday parties, baby or bridal showers, reunions.

I offer a price list with each CD for professional printing to order through me. There is a big difference in professional printing vs. 1 hour glossy prints, but it's totally up to you! I have samples of each to show you and compare.

Wondering what the "and such" is of my title? You'll see lots of my craftiness on here from wreaths to jewelry. So enjoy!
I'm also fitness advocate...trying to help others lose weight, along with myself. After being introduced to Beachbody, I've become completed addicted to staying in shape and helping others do the same. Let me know if you are interested in getting in shape, getting healthy and getting happy!! Facebook me, email me or go to my page

Branching out in 2015

Do you love pinning recipes, but when it's time to actually cook or bake something you take one look at that recipe and get overwhelmed or discouraged??  YES, that is me!  So for 2015 I will not be scared to try new recipes, what about you??

So tonight I decided I would fix salmon.  My husband loves salmon, as do I; but I have never prepared it at home.  So I started with an easy recipe and gave it a try.  This particular recipe is on many websites and blogs, so I'm not claiming this as my own...just not going to list the half dozen places I found it.  Asparagus was another veggie that I had never prepared at home either...so I was skeptical.  As I was preparing it, I grabbed my camera to show YOU how easy it can be!

So I grabbed some frozen skinless salmon fillets, asparagus and lemons...the rest I had at home.

Rinsed, dried and chopped the asparagus and lined a bundle on a square of foil.  Next time I will do more because Josh and Mason liked it!
Topped the apparatus with the frozen salmon fillet and seasoned it with sea salt, pepper and a little garlic salt.  Slapped a square of butter and a slice of lemon on top!  I folded up the foil to make a little boat and the tops contained the heat.  I baked it at 475 for 25 minutes and could hear the butter bubbling when I pulled it out...smelled so good!  I then decided to turn the broiler on and open the foil up to add a little heat to the very top!!
And our final product was yummy...I had a scoop of mashed potatoes and some roasted parm broccoli.   My husband loved it.  Mason had the same but I used tilapia for him.  He wasn't a fan of the lemon, though.  My husband said he was so surprised that he felt so full and ate so little compared to our frozen pizza/hamburger helper type nights...hahaha!  Good, healthy food will fill you up and keep you full longer!!!
Sorry my pictures are the best quality....busy school night means no fancy editing.  hahaha!
