I've have always been a calorie counter until I started 21 day fix. It's not that I don't watch them now, but I watch them less because I'm eating healthier. I could always stay at 1200 calories a day, but I was still eating tons of sodium and preservatives. Now I eat about 1500-1700 calories of way better foods, hardly any preservatives and very little sodium. WHAT a difference!!!
Now with that being said, this second round of 21 Day Fix didn't go quite as planned. I did do workouts everyday, but I did not follow the container plan as well as I did the first round. I blame this on my lack of prep work for my 2 sets of 3 days in a row at ACH. I found myself relying on cafeteria food more often in this round than the first because I had prepped less.
So what does that mean...it means that nutrition has A LOT to do with your success. Not to say I'm disappointed in my 2nd round results...I could have very well stopped, given up or plateaued. But I also think I could have done better...which means round 3 is back to 80-100% nutrition plan!!!
I have also continued my love for Shakeology...talk about satisfying. When I make snickerdoodle or Reeces flavored shakeo, I don't need the real thing and I'm full for hours!! Another round to go and another month of Shakeology! Round 2: 2.8lbs and 3 inches lost.
Not a huge difference between round 1 and 2 with a top on, but there is a bit of difference with my sports bra. Not quite ready to share that one with everyone...hahaha!
