I was honored when after doing Cody and Branaie's engagement pictures, they asked me to do their wedding. Wow!
So with the help of my best friend and fellow photog, Shannon Hall, we photographed a beautiful day between two wonderful families! I'm not quite sure I've ever seen such a happy and gitty bride, not to mention and groom who was just as "into" the day as we all were!
They bridal party go ready at their hotel in Bryant and then we all met at St. John's Chapel by the Creek in Benton for the fabulous ceremony. The reception was at the new Benton Event Center and I'm not sure I've ever attended such an interactive reception. Can we say "crowd participation!"
A few pre-wedding details...
Cody's mom, Jeanette is a florist and she did all the floral arrangements including the bouquets. She is wrapping part of Branaie's mom's wedding dress around her bouquet for the ceremony.
While Shannon photographed Branaie getting her dress on at the chapel, I caught Cody and his men doing their thing before the ceremony. Below is his Dad and Mom helping him look his best!
The "First Look" had to be one of my favorite parts of the day. Cody couldn't wait to see his bride and she was literally "blushing" as they had their few minutes alone.
The kiss!!
Reception fun
When I say interactive, this is what I'm talking about...The Shoe game. In front of the guests, Cody and Branaie took their shoes off and exchanged one to each other. The DJ would then let the guests ask questions about them and they would have to answer with their shoes. So an example of a question would be "Who wears the pants in the family?" They did agree on most questions!
